A good work-life balance increase your productivity

Reiki at Work

My last job in the City of London was very demanding and long hours were a daily fact. Working for a global brokerage specialist, I was the Executive Assistant to the CEO and various heads of departments.

Once a week, our offices were visited by a wonderful lady who offered Indian head massages and Reiki. She provided 20 minute treatments at our desks. It was the high light of our week!

Why should you consider offering Reiki to your employees ?

It is a fact that stress is one of the top causes of absence from the workplace. The reasons and symptoms can vary from place to place and present themselves as depression, poor concentration, anxiety, fatigue, digestive issues etc .... all resulting in decreased productivity.

A recent survey called "Health and Safety Executive Statistics on Stress Related Illness 2014-15", highlighted that 9.9 million working days are lost due to stress. Stress also accounted for 35% of all work related ill health cases during that period.

How can Reiki help your employees and your company?

Reiki can help your employees to relax and reduce their stress and anxiety levels while increasing their energy, general wellbeing and concentration. It can also help with the natural healing process of an illness.

I can offer short Reiki treatments to your employees at their desk or in a quiet room. All that is needed is a couple of chairs or a sofa.

The treatment lasts approximately 25 minutes and the client remains fully clothed.
